Jerry Springer has died at the age of 79

The famous talk show host Jerry Springer has died at the age of 79.

Springer passed away peacefully at his home in Chicago on Thursday just a few months after being diagnosed with cancer.

Springer was the mayor of Cincinnati before hosting his show for 27 years. He is survived by his daughter Katie Springer and his sister Evelyn.
