Vicksburg Junior High School football team blew out Madison Central 42-8 on Tuesday.

Deonta Selvy Jr. had a field day at quarterback where he brought in a total of five touchdowns and over 200 passing yards. He threw touchdown passes to Jayden Stewart(45 and 20 yards), Jaylen Stewart(50 yards) and Corbin Walker(55 yards). Selvy also ran for a two-yard touchdown.

Rico Thomas ran for a 35-yard touchdown and Javid Scott scored two 2-point conversions.

Defensively, Quez Jones had an interception, three pass deflections and a forced fumble. Davien Beard grabbed three tackles for loss along with Jaiden Thomas. Jamari Johnson recovered two fumbles and Jayden Younger had a sack.

The Gator defense forces a total of six fumbles on the night.

VJHS will host Germantown on Tuesday.
