Warren Central High School football team came out with a 24-21 win over Madison Central on Friday.

The Vikings struck first with a 28-yard pick 6 from Julien Demby to go up 7-0 after the good extra point by Jonah Artman. Just a short time later, Gavin Davenport took a 75-yard interception to the house that gave WC the 14-0 lead.

Before halftime, MC scored two short touchdowns and tied the game at 14.

The Jaguars scored first coming out of half and took the lead until freshman Nash Morgan connected with Zack Evans for a 22-yard touchdown.

Additional information will be added to the story.

The Vikings improved to 3-2 on the season and they will host Ridgeland on October 6.
