Vicksburg High School’s football game ended early after a fight broke out on the field in the third quarter.

The Gators were ahead 35-0 in the third quarter when Michael Johnson was running near the end zone then a Yazoo City player grabbed him by the face mask and threw him to the ground and resulted in his head hitting the turf. The incident escalated into both VHS and Yazoo players fighting each other and was eventually broken up but the game was soon called.

Just a short time later, another fight broke out in the crowd near the entrance that resulted in one person being tased and transported to the police station.
