Vicksburg natives Mickey and Simon both had multiple tackles on Thursday

Vicksburg natives Nicholas Mickey and Jashun Simon both grabbed multiple tackles for their collegiate teams on Thursday.

Simon, a linebacker for Coahoma CC, had eight tackles in a loss to Mississippi Delta CC.

Mickey, a defensive back for Southwest Mississippi CC, also had eight tackles and a sack in a loss to Mississippi Gulf Coast CC.

Simon is a graduate of Warren Central and Mickey graduated from Vicksburg High School.
