VICKSBURG, Miss. (VDN) —

Multiple members of the Porter’s Chapel Academy football team won district awards on Monday.

Blake Purvis was named the District 3-2A Coach of the Year as PCA currently sits with a 11-0 record.

Thomas Azlin won the overall MVP Award while Jase Jung and John Wyatt Massey are both the Co-Offensive MVPs. Defensive lineman Conley Johnston won the Defensive MVP award.

PCA will host Deer Creek on Friday in the second round of the playoffs.
