Accident on Confederate and Sturgis – VIDEO

A vehicle left the roadway on Confederate Avenue this afternoon, careening into a steep ravine.

The vehicle is barely visible from the road.

Vicksburg Fire Department Engine 8 responded and rescued the driver, who may have been injured in the crash. A child was also in the vehicle, but did not appear to have sustained any injuries.

Fire Chief Craig Danczyk spoke with VDN regarding this dramatic accident. Watch the full interview below:
