A Mississippi man dead after falling from a tree

A 61-year-old Adams County man is dead after falling from a tree.

Clyde Bernard was cutting a tree on Saturday and fell to his death. Adams County Coroner James Lee said Bernard was wearing all his safety gear.

The accident happened on Steamplant Road at about 1:40 p.m.
