Alcorn softball team won two out of three games against Alabama State this weekend

The Alcorn State University softball team defeated Alabama State 2 of 3 games this weekend.

During game one, Ambria Dorsey was on the mound for the Lady Braves as she struck out six batters in the 4-2 win.

Marsha Hunt and Ashley Arnold both went 2 for 3 at the plate to help ASU bring home the win.

In Game two, Brenn Ursin got the victory for the Lady Braves as she struck out four batters.

Amari Ramsey went 2 for 3 at the plate along with two RBIs in the second 4-2 win.

The Lady Braves lost their final game 6-1 but will soon take on Mississippi Valley State University this weekend in a three-game series as they strive forward to another successful ending.
