All parties identified in Claiborne County fatal crash

The driver of the Ford F-150 involved in Tuesday’s fatal crash in Claiborne County has been identified as Thomas Sturdivant, 35, of Natchez.

On Tuesday, just before noon, The Mississippi Highway Patrol responded to a crash on Highway 61, near Port Gibson in Claiborne County.

A Toyota Camry driven by 64-year-old Isaac P. Colenberg, Sr. of Fayette, MS, traveled south on Highway 61 and collided head-on with a northbound Ford F-150 pickup truck driven by Sturdivant.

Colenburg, Sr. suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. Sturdivant was transported to Merit Health Hospital in Vicksburg with non-life threatening injuries.

The crash remains under investigation by the Mississippi Highway Patrol.
