Alvin Stimage Jr. and Ashley Mikle create augmented reality children’s book

Alvin Stimage Jr. and Ashley Mikle have partnered together to form DobleA LLC, and present a new augmented reality children’s coloring book.

“We wanted to shorten the bridge between technology and children,” said Stimage. “We decided to combine learning and technology together but to make it fun,” added Mikle.

Their new product is an interactive alphabet coloring book that includes an app. This app connects pictures with words by bringing virtual objects into the real world. Their augmented reality app, called DobleA AR, is currently only available on the Apple Store, but it will be available on the Google Play Store soon.

Stimage and Mikle spent about six months developing this product before its completion. They wish to distribute it to various places that are interested in providing children with a different way of learning.

“We want to branch this out to mostly schools and daycares especially those who have pre kindergarten-second grade students,” Stimage states.

“We also want to expand into more STEM related topics like science, engineering and mathematics eventually after the expansion,” Mikle added.

Mikle is a native of Gulfport, and Stimage is a local man from Vicksburg.
