Anderson named as American Conference Defensive Player of the Week

Vicksburg native Nick Anderson has been named as the American Conference Defensive Player of the Week.

 

Anderson, a senior linebacker at Tulane, helped his team to a 17-10 upset over Kansas State on Saturday. He came up with six tackles and one tackle for loss.

The former Vicksburg High School star player has helped the Green Wave to a 3-0 start. They will be facing the University of Southern Mississippi this Saturday.

Anderson is in his final collegiate year at Tulane and is projected to enter the 2023 NFL Draft.
