Annie Mae Kidd Horton, 1946 – 2022

A celebration of Life will be held for Annie Mae Kidd Horton on Friday, January 6, 2023, at Christian Home M B Church # 2, 4769 Lee Road, 1:00 P. M. A visitation will be held on Thursday January 5, 2023, at C.J. Williams Mortuary Services, 4310 Halls Ferry Road, from 1 to 6 P. M. with family present from 5-6 P.M.

Annie Mae Kidd Horton was born on February 10, 1946, in Edwards, Mississippi, to the late Ida Boyd Kidd and the late Elvis Kidd.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Andrew Horton; two brothers, Elvis Kidd, Jr., and Billie Kidd; four sisters, Rosie Lee Thompson, Willie Mae Alexander, Mary Reagon, and Lucille Coverson; and her granddaughter, Tashiba Williams.

Annie is survived by her children, Calvin Kidd Horton, Annie (Michael) Horton Sims, Cornelius (Nicole) Horton, and Ron Horton; one sister, Verline Willis; 18 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.
