A benefit to help Jeff Crevitt will be held on Sep. 17 at the Elks Lodge.

Crevitt, a member of the Elks Lodge, went through extensive back surgery which is the cause of the event.

There will be a range of activities including a friendly jambalaya cook-off competition. Plates will be sold for $10.00 between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. A silent auction will be held from 8 a.m. to 1:45 p.m. with a live auction at 2 p.m. A poker run will also be hosted. Riders can register at 8 a.m. for $10, KSU at 8:30 a.m. and last bike in at 12:30 p.m.

The Elks Lodge is located at 1366 Highway 61 South in Vicksburg.
