Body discovered in Louisville, Mississippi

The body of a young man was discovered in Louisville by railroad workers.

Louisville Police Chief Sean Holdiness confirmed the discovery on Monday. The man was found between Railroad Avenue and South Church Avenue in a wooded area. He appeared to be a young Black male, wearing hunting coveralls and white athletic shoes.

The man has yet to be identified. The Mississippi Department of Public Safety Crime Scene Unit and the Mississippi Bureau of Investigation are all assisting with the case.
