Butler returns to the Patriots

Vicksburg native Malcolm Butler has signed a two year deal to play for the New England Patriots.

The announcement came out on Wednesday when Butler signed the deal that is worth up to $9 million.

Butler retired in 2021 after starting his NFL career in 2014 with the Patriots and later playing for the Tennessee Titans. He signed a deal with the Arizona Cardinals but retired before officially playing a game.

Butler is a 2009 graduate of Vicksburg High School.
