Car collision leaves two deceased at the scene

Two drivers were killed near Utica on Highway 27 just before midnight on Thursday.
Two vehicles collided just before midnight in Hinds County on Highway 27, north of Utica city limits, which left Keshawn D. Carter and Reginald D. Jones deceased at the scene.
Keshawn D. Carter, of Edwards, was in a 2004 Lincoln Town Car traveling northbound while Reginald D. Jones, of Hazlehurst, was driving a 2000 Lincoln Town Car travelling southbound. Both were the only occupants of their vehicles.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation by the Mississippi Highway Patrol.
