Carter selected to play in the inagural Mississippi vs. Louisiana All-Star Game

After competing on the varsity level in basketball,  upcoming senior Layla Carter has been selected to play in the inaugural 2022 Next Up all-star game – Louisiana vs Mississippi.

Carter, who is ranked as one of the top players in Mississippi, led Vicksburg High School to the third round of the playoffs while averaging over 12 points per game.

Over the past couple of seasons, Carter has become a top recruit and has received multiple scholarship offers, including one to the University of Southern Mississippi.

Now that Carter has been selected for the big game, she will get to showcase her talents in front of LGR and Geeker Report.

The All-Star Game will be held on June 18 in Shreveport, Louisiana at 5 p.m.
