City of Vicksburg Accepting Applications for Entry-Level Police Officers

The City of Vicksburg announced this week that they would be accepting applications for entry-level police officers.

The deadline to submit applications is April 29, 2022, by 4 pm. The applications can be picked up and returned to the Human Resources Office, 1415 Walnut Street Suite 100, Vicksburg, MS 39180, during regular business hours.

Applicants must be at least 21 years of age, a US Citizen, and have a High School Diploma or equivalent. Further requirements are that applicants hold a valid driver’s license and pass drug, background, and psychological screenings.

The beginning salary will be $16.12 per hour and includes paid Health, Life, Dental, and Vision Insurance.
