City of Vicksburg holding amnesty period for past due fines

The City of Vicksburg is holding an amnesty period for past due fines and resulting warrants.

If you owe past due fines and a contempt of court warrant has been issued for your arrest, you can avoid being arrested and have your warrant dismissed if you voluntarily come to the Municipal Court Clerk’s Office and pay the fine in full.

The office is located at 820 Veto St. and is open between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.

The amnesty period is in effect from Feb. 2 until April 30, 2020.
