Dan Mullen is out as head coach of the University of Florida football team as multiple sources confirm.

The University parted ways with Mullen after Saturday’s 24-23 overtime loss to Missouri. He was currently in his fourth season as head coach of the Gators after leading Mississippi State from 2009 to 2017.

Mullen has not commented on his dismissal yet and Greg Knox will step in as interim head coach until the position is filled.
