Dante Bender, accused of killing Meridian officer, now in custody

Dante Marquez Bender, the suspect accused of killing a Meridian police officer on Thursday, is now in custody, the Mississippi Bureau of Investigation announced on Facebook.
On Thursday, a Blue Alert was issued for Bender. Bender is said to have killed Meridian police officer Kennis Croom and a pregnant woman who’s identity has yet to be released.
