Davian Williams dominated for VHS over the weekend

Davian Williams, basketball player and point guard for Vicksburg High School, dominated over the weekend in the Pre National Tune Up Tournament.

Williams, a rising senior, averaged over 20 points per game in the tournament where the Gators went 5-0.

Just a few weeks ago, Williams earned his first Division 1 scholarship offer from Alcorn State University. He was also named the VDN 2022-2023 Boy’s Basketball Player of the Year, along with his former teammate Malik Franklin.

Williams is coached by Kelvin Carter, and VHS currently has a summer basketball record of 24-5.
