Decision 2021: Live Election Results

The Vicksburg Daily News is closely monitoring totals from each of the polling places. We will keep this chart updated with timely vote tallies as the votes come in.

As of 8 p.m., all but one of the polling places have reported their vote tallies. It appears as though Shawn Jackson and Troy Kimble will be heading into a run-off election for the democratic mayoral candidate nomination. Vickie Bailey is ahead in the South Ward, yet still too close to call with votes outstanding. Incumbent North Ward Alderman Michael Mayfield has won the seat with 792 votes to Webb’s 324.
