Eagle Lake customers under boil notice

Eagle Lake Water District customers are under a boil water advisory for all customers. The notice was issued earlier Tuesday.

Recent weather events have put a tremendous strain on many water systems in the area, causing massive leaks and systems to lose pressure. Boil notices are issued when a system loses power or pressure due to contaminates that can work their way into the system.  A clean water sample will need to be collected and confirmed by officials before the advisory is lifted.

Eagle Lake will notify customers when the advisory is no longer in effect,
