After dominating in her freshman season as the team’s pitcher, Former Porter’s Chapel Academy star Hannah Embry is headed into her second year at Pearl River Community College.

Embry threw 143 strikeouts as a freshman and is ready to get back playing with her teammates.

“As a team we’ve gotten really close off the field so I’m ready for us to feel that special bond on the field, Embry said.

Embry put in some hard work as a freshman and many are expecting her to have another breakout season. She has a total of six scholarship offers to continue playing, including two D1 offers.

PRCC will kick their season off against Snead State on Tuesday at 1 p.m where Embry will be on the rubber.

“I’m really excited for this year and I’m continuing to learn new ways to enhance my skills which is making me a better player and teammate.”
