Endangered infant found safe; Levy and Parrie in custody

Shaun Levy, 39, and Brittany Parrie, 28, have been taken into custody in Monroeville, Ala.

The Louisiana State Police issued a Level II Endangered/Missing Child Advisory for the couple’s newborn baby who Levy and Parrie took from Sabine Medical Center in Many, La., on Saturday, Jan. 11.

The baby was born around 1 a.m. Saturday with a life-threatening condition, and was to be transported to a hospital in Shreveport for medical intervention. She and her mother, Parrie, had intravenous drips connected when they left the hospital just a few hours later, around 3:55 a.m.

Baby Levy was transported by ambulance to a hospital in Monroe County. She is listed in stable condition. Charges against Levy and Parrie are pending.
