Erin Southard expected to be named Vicksburg Convention Center director

Inside sources have leaked to the Vicksburg Daily News that Erin Southard is to be named the new Director of the Vicksburg Convention Center.

A public press release is expected to be issued soon, confirming the appointment.

Southard has been a part of the Convention Center since 2003. Before joining the VCC, she served as Marketing Representative for Harrah’s Casino Hotel.

Southard obtained a bachelor’s degree in journalism from the University of Southern Mississippi where she put an emphasis on public relations.
