Family evacuates home after gas leak on Fairways Drive

A gas leak was reported this afternoon at a residence on Fairways Drive in Vicksburg.
Initial Culkin Firefighters on scene report a strong smell of gas and were advised to back off of the scene, there were reports the gas could be smelled a block away.
The gas was successfully turned off at the home and they are currently airing it out. No further information is available at this time of the cause of the leak.
