Felder Rushing holding free event Saturday

Felder Rushing will host a free event on Saturday which will include a book signing.

Rushing, a retired Extension Horticulture Specialist, columnist, author and host of NPR’s Gestalt Gardener program, will present an informal talk about “Maverick Gardeners-Dr. Dirt and other Keepers of the Flame”, followed by a plant swap (bring a good one or two) and book signing.

He will be in his famous antique truck with a complete garden growing in the back. Bring plants, weeds, etc. for identification.

The free event starts Saturday at 9:30 a.m. at the McNutt House, located at 815 1st E Street.
