A field fire is in effect at the 10,000 block of Freetown Road.

Numerous Warren County firefighters including Culkin 205 and 209 along with members of Bovina and Fisher Ferry are on the scene fighting the flames. An 8-year-old dog was believed to have died due to the incident, but have since learned it is expected to recover from its injuries.

First responders now have the scene under control and are currently hitting hotspots to prevent another fire.
