Fire destroys home on Churchill Drive
An early morning fire has resulted in the destruction of a home on Churchill Drive.
At approximately 8:23 a.m., dispatch received a call reporting that the home was fully engulfed in flames. Responding to the scene were the Vicksburg Fire Department units Ladder 3, Engine 2, Rescue 1, and Platform 1. In addition, the Vicksburg Fire Department and Warren County Emergency Services were on hand.
The house, which was unoccupied at the time, has been declared a total loss due to extensive damage from fire, water, and smoke.
First responders are still on the scene.
