Flashes defeat Discovery Christian 63-46 in a road win on Thursday

St. Aloysius boy’s basketball team went on a road trip to Discovery Christian on Thursday left with a 63-46 win.

“It was a solid team win,” head coach Anthony Lumpkin said.

The Flashes quickly took a 12-5 lead in the first quarter with Lazaveon Sylvester leading the way with 18 points, while also coming down with eight rebounds.

By halftime, St. Aloysius was up 22-16 and they never let go of their lead.

Will Keen also got in double digits, scoring 10 and grabbing 10 rebounds as well. Teammate Padre Gray, Jr. put up 11 with six assists. Matthew Pitre stepped up big for the Flashes by getting seven rebounds to go along with his nine points.

Korey Sims finished with seven points, Ahmad Stewart and Ashton Gray with four each and Waller Lambiotte with three points.

The Flashes will host Park Place on Nov. 29.
