St. Aloysius boy’s soccer team took a 3-2 loss in a shootout against Pillow Academy.

Eli Shiers helped tie the game in the first half. Shortly after, the Flashes took the lead when Cooper Madison scored from a penalty kick.

The game eventually went into overtime with the score tied at 2. As both teams failed to score, it forced them to go into a shootout.

Both teams were gaining goals from the shootout, but eventually Pillow took the win after Madison’s kick was too high.

The Flashes are now 10-8 and will advance to play Starkville Academy on Monday.
