WLBT) –  A former Jackson police officer accused of rape has been sentenced to 75 years behind bars. The sentencing was a victory for the victims of former JPD cop Jeffrey Webb Sr. Last week, a Hinds County jury charged Webb with statutory rape, sexual battery and gratification of lust. The Hinds County District Attorney says Webb sexually abused his former fiance’s daughter from the time she was 11 until she was 14-years-old. Webb was acquitted of raping a 15-year-old girl back in 2002. Jacquelyn Archie, the mother of one of Webb’s victims says “I just thank God that justice has been served, thank you, thank you, thank you.” For more including video click here: http://www.wlbt.com/Global/story.asp?S=14057919]]]]> ]]>
