Vicksburg native Hannah Embry gave an impressive performance on Wednesday in Hurst’s first college playoff game for Pearl River Community College.

Embry struck out 10 batters in the Wildcats’ 2-0 loss to Copiah-Lincoln Community College. She also only allowed six hits in a hard fought match where PRCC never lost confidence.

The former Porter’s Chapel Academy star has continued to dominate for PRCC as she has now led them to a 27-14 record for the year.

Embry and the Wildcats will face Hinds CC on Thursday at 2:30 p.m.
