Former Vicksburg High School football player Shardez Taylor has received an offer of a football scholarship from East Mississippi Community College.

Taylor announced the offer Monday on Twitter.

Taylor played for VHS for the past two seasons under former head coach Tim Hughes before transferring to Trinity Christian High School in Cedar Hill, Texas, this summer. He will be a senior this year, and he has already received numerous offers to play football on the next level.

Taylor has not committed to a college, yet. With his size and athleticism, he is sure to receive more offers by the end of his senior season.
