Joe Shorter named to the preseason All-Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference team

Former Warren Central High School football player Joe Shorter has been named to the preseason All-Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) team.

The announcement was made over social media last week where Shorter’s name is listed on the offensive team.

Shorter helped the Albany State Golden Rams to a 10-2 season in 2021 where they won the SIAC Championship.

Albany State’s season will begin on September 3 when they host Mississippi College.
