Amber Gaston, a former Warren Central standout basketball player, recently finished her sophomore season at Florida Atlantic University where she is continuing to become an impact player.

FAU finished with a 13-17 record this year, and Gaston played in 26 games averaging 4.2 points per game. She also added 2.5 rebounds every game this year to contribute to her team’s success. She missed four games as she was battling an injury, but she’s all set to play next season. Gaston played the forward position.

Her best game this season came against Western Michigan where she scored 19 points in a close 80-79 victory. She is also a very productive defensive player as she finished with 15 blocks this season.

Gaston is a former Mississippi Dandy Dozen and a 2018 graduate of Warren Central High School. She led the Vikings to a 22-9 record in her senior year.
