Former Warren Central offensive lineman Chris Winston had an outstanding performance last week for Hinds Community College.

Starting at center for the Eagles, Winston’s blocking for the Eagles offense is credited for 487 total yards in the 56-21 win over Southwest Mississippi Community College. The offense consisted of 346 rushing yards and 141 passing yards.

Winston was the lead blocker in the game. He has become one of the most reliable players on the field for the Eagles this season just as he did for Warren Central last year.

Winston and Hinds CC will be back on the field Thursday to face East Central Community College in Decatur, Mississippi, at 6:30 p.m.
