Former WC player Vertez Shorter signs with Reinhardt University

Former Warren Central High School football player Vertez Shorter has officially signed a football scholarship to play at Reinhardt University.

Shorter spent the last two seasons playing for Hinds Community College on the defensive line, where he helped the Eagles to much success.

Before joining the Eagles, Shorter starred at Warren Central High under head coach Josh Morgan. He racked up 72 tackles and four sacks in his 2018 senior season.

Vertez Shorter will now take his skills to the next level as Reinhardt will be receiving a great aggressive player.

Vicksburg Daily News will continue tracking his upcoming collegiate games.
