Four boats are in the water fighting for the $50,000 Grand Prize

Four teams are in their boats and in the water fighting for their shot at a $50,000 Grand Prize.
The top four finishers from Saturday’s competition agreed to go back out today and compete for the $50,000 Grand Prize. After the initial tournament on Saturday, the top four finishers had two options:
– Option 1: The 4 top finishing teams must unanimously agree to split the top 4 place prize money equally and thereby conclude the event after day 1.
-Option 2: All or some of top 4 finishing teams agree to fish and compete on day 2 for 1st, 2nd, 3rd and/or 4th place positions and cash prize awards.
If option 2 is elected, teams start day 2 with zero weight and must follow the tournament rules as published. The top four teams agreed to option 2 and will fight it out today.
On Saturday the teams entered the water at 5:30 a.m. and were not allowed to put a line in the water until 7:30 a.m. The competition ended at 3:30 p.m. and the teams lined up at the Convention Center for their weigh-in. The fish have to be alive and are released back into the water after being weighed in. The largest fish are tagged.
Today’s competition will follow the same schedule with the doors to the Convention Center opening at 3 p.m.
