Attala County nine-year-old killed in four-wheeler accident

An Attala County nine-year-old was killed after a four-wheeler overturned.

Leake County Sheriff Deputies responded to the call at approximately 7:30 p.m. on Friday. According to a report by Breezy News, the wreck occurred on North Jordan Street in Carthage.

The four-wheeler was reported to have flipped over after jumping a small hill.

The child was taken to Baptist-Leake Memorial Hospital. He subsequently died from his injuries.

The victim was a student at Presbyterian Day School in Kosciusko.
