Vicksburg High freshman basketball player Mikey Johnson showed his skills on the varsity level last night as he led the Gators to a big win.

Johnson hit three 3-pointers and finished with 17 points for VHS as the won the LA Realty Holiday in a 66-36 victory over Loretto.

Just a year ago, Johnson was starring for Vicksburg Junior High School as they were ranked No.1. He is now spreading his talents on the varsity level and could possibly be the next “big thing” that comes through Vicksburg in the upcoming years.
