St. Aloysius High School kicked off their youth girl’s basketball camp this week, hosted by Head Coach Savannah Buck and the varsity Lady Flashes.

The youth camp gives young athletes a chance to work hands-on with the varsity ladies and coach Buck on their offensive and defensive fundamentals for three hours a day through Thursday.

“We had such a great turnout,” Buck said. “It’s my first experience putting on a basketball camp of my own but it’s running smoothly and I think girls are learning a lot. It’s awesome to see our Lady Flashes and girls from other schools working hard together out on the court.

Over twenty are participating in the camp from ages 8-16. Funds raised will go towards the basketball program.
