Gas leak at Canton Nissan plant causes evacuation

Multiple employees were evacuated from a Canton Nissan plant due to a gas leak Monday morning, WLBT reports.

According to the report, officials stated a small leak was discovered inside the plant. The workers were evacuated out of precaution.

Workers remained in the parking lot while the situation was being investigated. Everyone was allowed back into the building after it was deemed safe.

No statement was given as to what caused the leak.
