Gas leak on Springridge Road

A home in the 500 block of Springridge Road sprung a significant gas leak on Sunday afternoon and homeowners had to be evacuated from the area, along with neighbors.

Responding officers indicated that there were a strong indicators of a leak on the side of the home and cleared the area for safety until the gas department arrived just after 3 p.m.
