Gators get a wild 21-11 win over Jim Hill

Vicksburg High School baseball got a wild Tuesday night playing Jim Hill which ended in a 21-11 victory.

The Gators got their first run score after Tyler Carter singled on a ground ball which led to Connor Harrigill to score.

VHS soon found themselves trailing 3-1 until they doubled on a line drive. Braylon Green and Mikey Johnson both brought in runs to tie the game at three.

After trailing 8-4 midway through the game, VHS began getting major hits which led to multiple scores for the Gators.

Chris Green went 3 for 3 at the plate, along with six RBIs. Rashad McCroy went 3 for 4 with one RBI.

VHS brought in 13 hits on the night with Mincer Minor IV, Harrigill, Carter, Decedric Brown, Johnson and Braylon Green all getting one hit.

Chris Green struck out five batters in two innings. Carter struck out three in two innings as well. Kaleb Doss pitched in relief.

VHS will travel to face Jim Hill on Friday.
