Gators now on a six game winning streak after beating Greenville

Remaining on their hot streak with six wins in a row, Vicksburg High School baseball team took down Greenville 5-2 on Friday.

Connor Harrigill popped things off early for the Gators when he singled early in the first inning that led to Mincer Minor IV getting the run score. Tyler Carter would soon single on a ground ball and Raymond Grey drove in the run.

Big hits by Chris Green and Minor in the second inning would help VHS go up 4-0 heading into the third inning.

DeCedric Brown led the Gators to getting their final score when he singled and Minor made it to the home plate.

VHS had a total of six hits where Minor, Brown, Harrigill, Green, Carter, and Rashad McCroy each had a hit.

Harrigill struck out nine batters in the victory.

PCA loss 16-1 against Manchester.
