Gilliam and Griffin had good performances on special teams last week

Former Warren Central High School football players Joshua Griffin and Brandon Gilliam had good performances for their colleges last week.

Gilliam, who is a kicker/punter for East Central CC, made two field goals from 29 and 38 yards out along with two PATs. He also punted the ball four times for an average of 44 yards.

Griffin, who is a kicker/punter for Southern University, had six touchbacks in a 59-3 win over Arkansas-Pine Bluff. He also went 8-for-8 on PATs.

Both Griffin and Gilliam played for Josh Morgan at WC.
